photos!

hey people, i know everyone wants a piece of the pics of our beautiful st. johns, so i've taken out about a hundred pics and chucked them on gmail for those who can't wait till next sunday, when i'll have some disks with the cleaned up photos.. i haven't done anything to these yet, but they're pretty good liao compared to some others.. haha..

anyway, to access the photos, you'll want to login to Gmail and sign in with the same username and password as the blog =) that's right, we've got an account as sbbcyinc@gmail.com..

the zip is about 30mb, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to download, hopefully.. didn't dare to make it too big in case people with slower connections can't complete the download.. so.. enjoy =)

Bridge Builder

An old man going down a long highway
Came in the evening cold and gray
To a chasm vast and deep and wide
Through which was flowing a sullen tide.

The old man crossing in the twilight dim;
That swollen stream held no fears for him;
But he turned when safe on the other side
And built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man," said a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting your strength with building here
Your journey will close with the ending day;
You never again must pass this way;
You have crossed the chasm deep and wide-
Why build you this bridge at the eventide?"

The builder lifted his old gray head.
"Good friend, in the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
This swollen stream which was naught to me
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be;
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building the bridge for him."

many thanks to everyone who's been a help and a teacher to any one of us over our times.. and i pray we may someday help others who follow even after us =)

Modest Proposal

I like the T-shirt idea. Have you asked around to garner support for the idea? Bottom line is....more people buy = cheaper T-shirts. We need to put together a small group to design the T-shirt and see to its completion. Any volunteers?

Got a few questions before we dive right in....but too lengthy to ask in the blog. Let's form a team for this first...probably 2-3 would be sufficient. Volunteers plsss..... =)
